Puffin

Found in the North Atlantic, the Puffin (or parrot of the sea) is a species of marine bird, easily recognizable by its multicoloured beak sporting vibrant colours.The straight & proud posture the Puffin adopts, and its red nose, has earned it the nickname of “clown of the sea". The Puffin’s feathers are black & white and its webbed feet are orange. It spends most of its time on the water, and returns to the land during mating season where it makes its nest in burrows dug into the grassy slopes.The Puffin’s diet consists mainly of small fish, mollusks and crustaceans.
