Tapir Baby

The stripes and spots on its coat look a little like a watermelon. This pattern fades as the tapir grows up. As it grows, the tapir baby puts on a lot of weight. As an adult, the tapir weighs almost as much as a horse. Heavy, but for a good reason. By simply leaning against trees it can to knock them over, so the tapir calf can get to the tastiest, fresh fruits at the very top. Truly impressive!
