The loggerhead turtle is primarily a swimmer, frequenting temperate bodies of water around the globe. Its circumference measures about a metre, and it weighs nearly 100 kg.

Did you know that, when laying eggs, the Loggerhead turtle lays more than 100 eggs that she covers in sand? Each female lays eggs only every 2 to 3 years.
